WHAT YOU’LL DO:
No two days are the same. In this role, you’ll:
- Maintain parks, athletic fields, playgrounds, medians, trails, and landscaped areas.
- Operate equipment including tractors, mowers, skid steers, loaders, ATVs, and trucks.
- Assist with irrigation installation and repairs.
- Help prepare athletic fields and park facilities for safe public use.
- Perform landscaping, turf maintenance, tree and shrub care, and seasonal upkeep.
- Support minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and concrete repairs.
- Apply fertilizers and chemicals as directed.
- Keep restrooms, public spaces, and park amenities clean and safe.
- Assist with special projects, city events, storm response, and beautification efforts.
This position also serves as a key support role for the Parks Crew Leader and may assist with oversight and operations when needed.

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least one (1) year of general maintenance experience required.
- Parks, landscaping, construction, irrigation, athletic field, or trades experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required with good driving record.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
